Classroom Training
Cub Scout Leaders Specific Training
Cub Scout Leader Specific Training underwent some changes in the past year. This class has been historically offered only in a classroom setting. However, the National Council has made a very thorough web version that is offered online at the E-Learning Website.
The Blue Ridge Council loves technology, and want to embrace the tools of the next 100 years of Scouting, but we feel that there is still value to learning in a classroom setting from a live teacher who can answer your questions and offer a personal touch that some may feel is missing from the online course.
This course will be offered periodically through the year
Next Course: October 26 & 27 at the Scout Service Center from 6pm-9pm.
Wednesday the 26th will be This is Scouting (leader essentials training) and Thursday the 27th with be leader specific training. Any new cub scout leader or experienced cub scout leader in a new position is encouraged to attend. If anyone has any questions they can contact lee@southbounder.com.
