National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is the pinnacle of Boy Scout training for youth.  Every Troop deserves a Senior Patrol Leader who is trained and prepared for the responsibilities he faces.  NYLT offers training in advanced scout skills and teaches the eleven points of leadership.  This course is supervised by adults and taught by boys.  It emphasizes the methods of a boy-led troop.  There will be only 48 available spaces for this course, which will fill up fast.  The cost of the course is $200 and the course is held at Camp White Pines.  To reserve a slot for your scout(s) you must submit a $75 deposit by February 16, 2010 and the completed application form below.  The $75 dollar deposit is nonrefundable but can be transferred to another scout.  Scouts must be 13 years old and First Class by May 31, 2010 to be eligible.  There is a limit of two scouts per unit until February 28, 2010.  Every participant must submit a medical form and attend, along with their scoutmaster, the orientation meeting held after the first of the year (2010).  Date will be announced later.
