| National Youth Leadership Training: June 7 - June 12, 2009 |
| National Youth Leadership Training, NYLT, is the pinnacle of Boy Scout training for youth. Every troop deserves a Senior Patrol Leader that is trained and prepared for the responsibility he faces. Foxfire offers training in advanced scout skills and teaches the eleven points of Leadership. This course is supervised by adults and taught by boys, it emphasizes the methods of the boy-led troop. There will only by 48 available spaces for this course, which fills up fast! The cost is $200. To reserve a slot for your scout(s) you MUST do the following: Submit a $100 deposit by February 20, 2009 and complete the form to the right. The $100 deposit is NONREFUNDABLE. Boys must be 13 years old and First Class by May 31, 2009 to be eligible. Limit 2 boys per Troop until February 20, 2009. |

For many, Scouting is a tradition that is handed down generation to generation. Scouting provides the opportunity to strengthen ties between family members, create great family memories, and develop a shared family foundation of worthwhile virtues and values. The Generations Connection encourages Scouts to explore the positive impact of Scouting on families through a program centered around the enduring symbol of the tree.
