| Recharters |
|
Every year the Boy Scouts start fresh in the membership books. All units recharter. This is done by taking off all youth and adults that are no longer active in your unit. If your unit’s recharter month is January, your recharter is two months late. Packs, Troops, Crews and Explorer Posts that are late lose their Liability and Accident Insurance. Units that are two months late (the beginning of the third month) will drop off our books. If you are having a problem with your recharter, give Nathaniel Harris a call 855-8708. He will set up a meeting to go over any problems you might have. |
Cub Scout Day Camp
|
Join us for all the fun and excitement of Cub Scout Day Camp at
Easley
First
Baptist
Church, June 14- 17. Boys will participate in many activities including BB guns, archery, sports, nature, games and crafts. It is a great way for boys to earn advancements, while having fun with other scouts. Registration is $60.00 ($70.00 after the deadline). Keep your eyes out for the sign up sheet. |
|
Day Camp Volunteers Needed |
|
All the fun that the boys have at day camp only happens because of the volunteers who take their time to come help out. We need course instructors, instructor assistants, and mostly we need den leaders. If you can volunteer the entire week, or even just one day please call (855-8708) or email (nathanielpharris@gmail.com) Nathaniel Harris. |

Pickens Financial Goal
|
| We kicked off our finance campaign in January. Our goal for 2010 in Pickens is $100,000. We always get help from all of the dedicated families in
Pickens
County. The Family FOS presentation explains the need for your annual support to keep scouting strong in our community. We will come to your unit and present how scouting is financed and how you can be a part of it. If you would like to be a part of the Family FOS campaign please call your local District Executive Nathaniel Harris at 855-8708, or email him at nathanielpharris@gmail.com |

The Generations Connection encourages Scouts to explore the positive impact of Scouting on families through a program centered around the enduring symbol of the tree.
