Cub-Mobile Races..

Packs don’t let your Cubs miss out on the ride of their life!!  Races are held directly behind the Anderson County Civic Center.  The fee to race is $2.00 per racer..  Prices will be given to winners in each age division.  Due to the number of racers we have two dates..  Tigers and Webelos will race on Oct. 30th and Wolf and Bear will race on Nov. 13th – plans for building your own soap box derby car are on our District Web site listed above.  To order hospital gurney wheels for your car or for questions on specs, rules and regulations e-mail Ron Cromer at pack3041@gmail.com

Cub Family Camping:

Packs don’t forget to select a date for your group to go up to Camp Old Indian for a weekend of fun for your Pack at Camp Old Indian – this weekend  delivers the promise of BB Guns and Archery and Fire building which the boys are excited about and the entire campout is only about 18 hours.. with breakfast and a patch included – visit www.blueridecouncil.org to see available Camping dates..

Boy Scout Camporee – Nov. 4th – 6th ‘A Return to the Big Apple’ – Apple Island that is!! Webelo Scouts are also invited and Troops can hike in or come by canoe or come by boat – super fun Island – we will be roughing it.  Registration materials have been circulated so make sure you get your pre-registration in early to help us prepare the program.  Webelos are invited!

New Families:  By the time you read this there will be over 452 new boys coming into Scouting for the first time – make sure to take the extra time to keep them informed by phone and email of all the early meetings and events so they have a wonderful experience in Scouting in the Great Six and Twenty District..
