| Friends of Scouting |
|
It’s that time of the year again when we kick off our district’s annual Friends of Scouting Campaign. Funds generated through this campaign provide numerous benefits to your youth and leaders. All funds given to your local council stays local and are 100% tax-deductible. These funds provide the
Scout
Service
Center on
Butler Road, camping facilities at Camp Old Indian,
Camp
White Pines and
Camp
Arrowhead, programs and trainings held year-round. The greatest thing these funds provide for is funding for any youth who cannot afford to be in Scouting. If requested, the Blue Ridge Council will help any youth with registration fees, books, materials, uniforms and camping fees. We want every youth in the Upstate to be involved in Scouting, no matter their financial status. If you can, please consider donating to the Blue Ridge Council. If you would like to, please contact Andrew Dilliner at 233-8363 or ADilliner@blueridgecouncil.org.

The Generations Connection encourages Scouts to explore the positive impact of Scouting on families through a program centered around the enduring symbol of the tree.
