| NEWS FROM THE REGISTRAR |
Name Submission: When submitting names for registration, please identify the individual completely. According to the BSA National Office, members are to be registered by their given name. Nicknames and/or middles names are not to be listed as the first name. Please use full name, address and date of birth. It would make identification easier if additional names were put in parenthesis.

Transfers: In order to qualify as a "transfer" the member must be currently registered in a seperate unit. If the individual is not currently registered it is not a "Transfer Registration" and a full fee must be paid. Please note that it is the responsibility of the units to transfer youth members. We have no way of knowing when a person is due to "crossover" to Boy Scouts because the membership program has no notification system. NOTE: A youth member moving to the Assistant Scoutmaster position must transfer by submitting an adult application and pay a $1.00 transfer fee.

The Generations Connection encourages Scouts to explore the positive impact of Scouting on families through a program centered around the enduring symbol of the tree.
